That rhubarb has spread, and gotten enormous, making a real focal spot on the side of a barn area at their home. I am sure it's because I prefer stuff that takes care of itself (cats instead of dogs, children that brush their own teeth) and I usually "get things going" in the spring and then fall off the wagon and start to ignore. Therefore, rhubarb's resistance to bugs and tolerance for drought are okay, because I water my garden...hmmm...maybe twice a week? No wonder the tomato plants wither up and die! (This is not a new revelation. It's something I try to remedy every year.)
