We are mostly between flowers right now. The spring bulbs have died back and the summer flowers are coming in late because of a long, cold winter. So our hanging baskets are filling in the void.
The rabbits eat our petunias and pansies. I couldn’t imagine going a summer with out them, so I plant them in hanging baskets and planters on our patio.
I can’t wait until the flowers fill out and overflow their baskets!
The irises are thinking of opening, so hopefully I will have more blooms to show you before the week is out.

What a great way to brighten up the patio and keep the critters at bay. ;)
Those pesky wabbits! :o) Where there's a will . . .
I could not go a season without some pansies and petunias. Love 'em!!!
Thanks for sharing
My sympathies on the late start to your blooming - that is absolute torture! Our spring was like that last year. This year we are blooming 3 weeks early! Love your hanging baskets - petunias and pansies are so pretty. Darn critters.... Happy Gardening - may your blooms burst soon! :)
Your baskets look gorgeous! Hopefully you will have more bloomin' flowers soon :)
Looks just beautiful! I love hanging baskets too. We have a number of them in our yard.
Thanks for sharing!
My son depends on a .22 and a kingsnake to take care of his rabbits. That's what being a gardener will do to you, sad but true.
Bring on summer so we can get some flowers!
Hopefully by next week your garden will be alive with color. The red and yellow are so pretty together. Happy Bloomin' Tuesday! Jean
As a child I would always cheer on Peter Rabbit - as an adult I cheer for Mr. McGregor! :) Pesky rabbits!
Melinda, since moving here I completely sympathize with Mr. McGregor!
I have to plant petunias in hanging baskets, too, but it's because of the slugs here- gross.
Thanks for linking to the Tuesday Garden Party!
